Meet the team whose mission is to further your mission.
We love the work done by organisations who have a mission to look after others, who selflessly and tirelessly work to help those in society who are often neglected, standing up for those who can’t stand up for themselves. They have the potential to make small change in society but a big change to an individual. We love seeing people do this sort of work, seeing how simple acts can change people’s lives, and the knock on effect to those around them.
So why is it that so many of these organisations are struggling to get the message out to the people who they can help, or the people who can support them?
We want to change that. We want to help you get people talking about the amazing work you do, draw people in with you passion, and help you gain the support you need to make a real difference!
The Narrative Shepherd
I’m Tim Green and I’m the Narrative Shepherd. I love taking a company’s content and crafting the right narrative from it, cutting the fluff and jargon, highlighting where there are missed opportunities, identifying what stories need to be told, and where on the website they should be told, guiding them in how to tell the world about the amazing work they do, or why their mission is something that needs to be everyone’s mission, and how the reader can get involved.
An inticing narrative bringing your mission to life on your website leads to better connection and credibility with your audience, compelling them to learn more, take action and invest in your mission.
Along side me in our mission to help you is my wife Kate.
Kate likes to throw her ideas in the pot with the creative side of the web design. She has a keen eye for visuals and shares my passion for using websites to share captivating stories which look great, and build more support for the organisations which make such a difference.
She also works hard doing the boring financial stuff (which she actually quite enjoys!)
What’s in the name?
Well Tim has always been a Green and Kate used to be a Bird. Having got married and with a fondness to Kate’s maiden name, they agreed to keep it alive by combining the two. We think it has a nice ring to it!
WordPress + Divi
The minefield of choosing a website platform can be daunting, each one promises to be perfect for you, and it seems that everyone has a different opinion. Let’s make this simple – we use WordPress!
We believe that WordPress is an excellent compromise between ease of use, functionality, flexibility, and cost. Over 35% of all websites are powered by WordPress, and one of the best themes we’ve found is Divi by Elegant Themes.
Divi is such a powerful theme, we are confident it can cover your website needs. We keep going back to Divi because it always delivers, which means we are always learning how to make better websites on this platform, instead of wasting time reinventing the wheel.
“There is almost no limit to what you can create with Divi, and one of it’s best features is the community that supports it”
If you need extra help creating the appropriate content for your site, we work with local agencies, (who are also friends who share our values), to provide specialised services beyond what we can do on our own.
